 Yes, please keep `imaginary` and `spectral`!  It doesn't matter at all if
 they have a tiny runtime... but spotting when their allocation jumps is a
 very useful signal that some optimisation has gone wonky, and far easy to
 narrow down than in some giant program.

 We should have substantial programs too, with significant runtime, but
 let's not lose the tiny ones!
