> Looks like the new version of the Bits class also forgoes the Num
superclass, which is quite welcome. To accommodate though, testBit, bit,
and popCount can no longer have class-wide defaults, so the comment on the
top needs to be updated to include these to state that they belong to the
"minimal completion set".
Reported and fixed in a separate ticket #5875 (to make it easier for Ian
to track the required merges.)
