Comment:

 Hello,

 the bug is still there in 7.4.2---as noted by several users at
 http://www.reddit.com/r/xmonad/comments/yp86g/help_with_xmonad_wakeups_bug/

 That is, running vanilla xmonad on 7.4.2 leads to ~100 wakeups/s.
 Recompiling manually with -threaded fixes the problem, though.
