#7339: GHC fails to build from source on Alpha

Looking back at the old build logs for building ghc on Alpha I see that
7.4.1 successfully builds but 7.4.2 fails to build with the same reason as
7.6.2. Likely then to be some change between 7.4.1 and 7.4.2 that has
caused this.
I think I'll run a check that 7.4.1 still builds to verify that
conclusion.
