I am running Haskell 7.4.2 (64bit) on OS X 10.6.8
Here is the result of a session with Haskell:
$ ghci
GHCi, version 7.4.2: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ :? for help
Loading package ghc-prim ... linking ... done.
Loading package integer-gmp ... linking ... done.
Loading package base ... linking ... done.
Prelude> :quit
Leaving GHCi.
$ ghci

Loading package integer-gmp ... linking ... done.
Loading package base ... linking ... done.
Segmentation fault
$
