Merged as 4b380f192d1b3f7455e7c2bb9bf3ebe6c6b5e7ca and
29bbb9f538db07ecbc412879f357f16607b2ad65.
If another change is desirable, then I think it would be best to open a
fresh ticket for it, so people looking at it don't have to trawl through
so much history. Hence closing this one.
