fromInt method in ghc-4.04 ?

Hello,

I'm just starting to use ghc-4.04 coming from ghc-3.02. I wonder whether there
is still a fromInt method available. The compiler says Variable not in scope: 
`fromInt'. My code works with Hugs 98. Do I have to make any additional imports?
