Hi!

I also have an SP2 around and was thinking about doing
some experiments with it too!
It is great to have an MPI version of GUM!

I started from the other end, i.e. getting an RS6000 port.
I have a working 2.01 GHC (actually I haven't looked into having a
concurrent and profiling version).

2.02 is also working, but since 2.02 and 2.03 don't
bootstrap (ugh!) I haven't a real 2.02 or 2.03 version around
(I have libraries and RTS for 2.02 that work from a .hc generated
in a Sun, i.e. I have to compile to .hc in a Sun and then compile
it with gcc and link it on an RS6000).

I haven't touched it in the last 2 or 3 weeks (I was away and
also eagerly waiting for a version that actually bootstraps).
[I was promised for a bootstrapping version soon :-)...]
(I haven't looked into the bootstrapping problem myself,
maybe it is all related to just a few parsing and interface problems).

Anyway, I can send you the patches for 2.02, should be exactly the
same for 2.03 (just driver/mangler fixes and even smaller RTS fixes).
That should keep you going...

Andre.
