No native code gen (yet!). Since I haven't bootstrapped it from lhs files (only from the .hc files) you have to use the -fvia-C option to compile, otherwise it will probably try to spit some other architecture's assembler (sparc?). I will put my source tree available in the same place (soon), if someone wants to try bootstrapping or building concurrent/profiling/parallel versions. All the necessary patches should be in the 2.04 release. Andre. PS: problems with gcc/assembler are not too unlikely, since IBM can't make its mind about the name of its instructions.
