Hi Folks,

GHC-current is up and running. That is, you can get snapshots of our
current GHC source tree from

   ftp://ftp.dcs.gla.ac.uk/pub/haskell/glasgow/current/ghc-current.tar.gz

These tarballs are generated nightly, on those nights when the sources
build successfully. Standard disclaimers for source snapshots apply:

        - it builds for us, but it might not for you
        - if it doesn't build for you, get tomorrows and try that :-)
        - it might not work

On the other hand, all bug fixes reported on glasgow-haskell-bugs
should be in the tree, so this is a good way to get a fixed GHC if
your life depends on it.

The version number on a snapshot build will be something like
"proto-3.02-7-Mar", which you should include in any bug reports.

We realise that downloading 2.5M of source every so often is
sub-optimal, and it would be better to give folk read-only access to
the CVS repository. This will hopefully happen at some point in the
future, when we get anoncvs (like the OpenBSD guys use) running.

Have fun...

Cheers,
        Simon
