There is no convenient flag. But would not be hard to add.
However, the minimum interval is very dependent on the resolution
of the system clock.
The profiler uses setitimer to set the interrupt facility.
man setitimer ...
Time values smaller than the resolution of the system clock
are rounded up to the resolution of the system clock
Alternative solution:
Make your program run longer by giving it a bigger dataset to process.
After all, you are normally interested in identifying the major time
consumers.
