The FreeBSD folks have been kind enough to commit the update for the ghc port to 5.04. FreeBSD users: cvsup your /usr/ports, cd /usr/ports/lang/ghc && make install, or wait for the package to appear on your local mirror site and try 'pkg_add -r ghc'.
