I just received my glasses (within about 18 days of placing order. I paid 40 bucks (actually I think in change a little less). For 40 bucks, my attitude is, let's just give this a whirl, I can really lose here for that kind of money and I will be happy to just see what comes in the mail, no matter what (I am an early adopter type).
Well, I can't believe how good these are. My prescription is very high with astigmatism, and costs a small fortune to fill with high index. These lens are just as good as the last pair I have bought, very thin, and when I switched out my expensive lens and flipped to these, it was no change at all in terms of vision. The frames are also really good quality and the style is cool. The only negative was I ordered polarized lens, and they don't seem to be, but hey, I was told by my last optician that my prescription was too strong to have both high index and polarization, so adding polarization to my order was a bit of a lark. I need to get a photo of these on to show you, it speaks more strongly than a post. My advice is to make sure that you get a really good idea of the total width you want in your frames (I like mine on the slightly wider end) and if you can get a professional to measure your pd. I may do that before I order another pair, which I will. The next time I am going to order a pair of glasses with a tint, at this price, I may as well. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://www.glassyeyes.com!
