Got the glasses today!! So it took from 9/19 to 10/04 to get them.
Far more time that expected. So far they seem pretty good. The
design of the frames is somewhat different than how I judged them
online. The arms are much fatter than I thought. I do like them
however. The lenses are very clear, no damage that I can find
anywhere. The lens seem to have the right script. I need to get used
to them as they are progressives with a shorter lens than what I am
used to. I will try a pair from Zenni next for comparison. I plan to
bring these in to Walmart and see if I can get them to check the lens
against the script. Plus maybe a little help to fit them. This has
been a fun experience for me. I have spent some time with this and
attained a good bit of useful knowledge about my glasses both
technically and aesthetically I know more of what I like and how to
describe them with proper measurements. All and all a good
experience. Thanks to all of the GE members and to you Ira for the
useful information on this forum. I would recommend GEG. Good
quality frames and lenses here. Only bad thing was the shipping
delay. I will change this opinion as I use the glasses and get them
checked. I will post info on the lenses after getting them checked.
