I am confused about prism and how prisms are put into lenses. I tried to ask my eye doctor about it but he was already examining another patient. So I asked the clerk and she didn't seem to know what it was.
I want to buy prisms online but I want to know are prisms already inside the lenses or do I need to make a special request? I just want basic CR-39 lenses with prism. If I want to keep my frame can I replace the lenses to have prism? Or can I use my old lenses and ask for "prism correction"? Also are prism lenses for near, middle, or far distance seeing? Any more information about prisms welcome. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://www.glassyeyes.com!
