My Zenni ones (and those of 3 other people I know) are 80% gray tint, and
are matched to the shape of the lens perfectly. The results were most
definitely worth it, and mine cost only $25 by the time I bought the
glasses, lenses, and AR coating.
I don't know where you heard that the magnetic ones weren't matched to the
shape of the lenses. You're probably thinking of Zenni's generic "clip on"
that is always offered, and which matches in general shape only. It's
similar to the Polar Optical ones you can buy at any WalMart...close, but
not customized.
The magnetic ones are a perfect match.
