Backstory: I ordered some glasses from Wal-Mart. The first time they
came in, the lenses were warped, so they had to be sent back. The day
after the reorder (Monday the 26th, I believe), I bought a couple of
pairs from Goggles4U - one with a prescription I received but had
trouble actually using in the past [it included an astigmatism
correction and caused me to see half-double for some reason], and one
with the "safe" prescription.

The corrected Wal-Mart pair and the Goggles4U pairs all came in
today. The Wal-Mart pair is OK - not exemplary, but pretty good.

One of the Goggles4U pairs "looks" odd. When I put them on I have a
very mild version of the double-vision thing. The lens looks like it
might be a bit misaligned in the frame, though - I plan to contact
them about this on Monday and ask them if they can give me
instructions on reseating it. On the other hand, it may be the
prescription since it's given me trouble in the past. I bought the
glasses knowing this, so if I continue to have issues I'll spring for
getting them relensed.

The other one (the "safe" pair) is simply outstanding. I don't know
what it is about them, but they're GREAT. Perhaps I'm just being
swayed by the fact that the size of the lenses actually gives me the
field of vision I would like, but really - I'm quite pleased. I never
expected to buy such a solid product from a company with "4u" in the
name. ;-)
