I looked at the wohloptics site and they seem to have a nice, clear
system for ordering new lenses. They also have options for cleaning
and repair of frames, which would be good for having lenses put in
"vintage" frames.

I really don't have any idea what the different types of lens
materials are. So far, I've just gotten whatever Zenni chose to put
in. It seems that "standard plastic" are quite a bit cheaper than
polycarb--is there a big difference? Have there been any posts on how
to choose lens material?

I'll repeat that I had a good experience ordering from
> wohloptics.com in Pennsylvania. I got a -6.50 prescription in CR-39
> plastic for $20, plus $7shipping. Every option, including scratch
> coating, higher index plastic, bifocals, etc. will add to the cost.
