Actually, it did change quite a bit. The add went from +1.25 to +2.25 (remember, we're talking 6 to 8 years between glasses) And the GEG pair IS poly due to them being rimless.
Guess that's what I get for listening to a Wal-Mart optician. She told me poly was a better choice lens than CR-39, and that was for a full frame I was looking at. CR-39 should have been fine, as I have a very low distance correction(+.50), and as I drive for a living, I don't see the need for the safety of poly. That is unless I'm planning on banging my head on the steering wheel, which I feel like doing after this whole fiasco. ;) Well, live and learn I guess.
