I am, unfortunately, a man with a large head and chubby face. I was going to pay the usual $300-$500 or more for a pair of glasses until I happened upon this group. Thanks to the information I have learned here, I know my PD is 69, and I know basically what I need:
Lens width: 55 or higher (actually between 57 and 59 would be ideal) Bridge: 19-20 Temple: 145 minimun (although 150 would be even better) I started looking at glasses on the various sites, and was dismayed to learn that the frames on these sites come in only one size, and it was not in the size that I need. I went through several pairs of glasses which was very frustrating and time-consuming. What am I doing wrong? Am I destined to have to pay full retail price because I don't have a small face? Why don't these discount sites customize the frames and lenses based on your unique measurements? Help, please!
