You guys sure respond fast! :). I am amazed at the insight and thoughtfulness you all have spent on a complete stranger in need of peripheral correction.
I will research in depth, the websites and options you all have provided for me after tonight because I have a midterm to study for blindly, haha. I went to Walmart Optic Vision today, and they told me there's a repair shop not too far away on the corner, and I gave them a call. They could probably replace my frames from 30-60$... It's either the repair shop, or I can get my broken pieces solder for about the same price (I am relieved, yet disappointed at the same time). Its definitely better than ordering new frames, but I don't think they can replace the exact temple frames I have (and I really love my side frames). Interestingly enough, my vision has been getting slightly better than when I wear glasses all the time, so its kinda refreshing. My lenses were transitional though, so on the other hand, its hard to see in the sun now. It looks like I might just run over to their office tomorrow and see if I can get it repaired. There goes $50 down the toilet for my silly mistake... and I'm getting suspended from work in a few weeks too from the budget cuts happening nationwide. Its amazing how things happen in succession =D. I really like how there's all these cool styles on the website.. I'm scared about ordering a pair of glasses that might not fit me. I can't wear certain glasses because of my unique sized head... (okay I have a big head), but yeah. Certain glasses are way too small for my eyes, and I don't want to wear anything that makes me look like a grandpa, with the super big eye frames, at age 21. (no offense out there!). Is there anything anyone can tell me about how to choose wisely for that? I think it would be cool if I could cruise in style in different pairs of glasses for under $100-200 having 3-4 sets of glasses, either for backup or for sport!
