They are. Poly has an index of 1.59. Zenni is using, according to
their website, "Thin and Light 1.57 index lens"
Look at their homepage and it's right on it on the right hand side.!
Thin and Light 1.57 index lens

I have glasses from Zenni and they definately are NOT poly. Poly just
isn't that clear. I know their info page says that it's a "high-index
(1.57), polycarbonate composite"
http://www.zennioptical.com/cart/pages.php?pageid=8
but there are some things to take note of here, starting with a 1.57
lens being called hi index. It's actually a medium index lens!
Second, it's a COMPOSITE lens, which is laminate of poly and another
plastic resin (Much like the Definity progressive lenses from Johnson
& Johnson).
It is not a plain poly lens. Poly sucks, IMHO.
