I ordered from Zenni on March 12 originally. They declined to fill my rx in a rimless frame, so I had to choose another one, which was confirmed by them via email on March 13. Total cost $75.
I received the glasses directly from Hong Kong today - April 1. As far as I can tell, they are correct. I will see about having them checked out since my rx is so high: -13.25, -1.5, 25 -12.5, -.5, 155 I chose the highest index lens (1.67), the edges are still quite thick but seem to be similar to my old glasses which I believe are also 1.67. My most recent B&M pair are 1.74 and the frame is tiny, so these look quite a bit thicker on the edges as the width is wider and they are rectangular: http://zennioptical.com/cart/product.php?productid=625&cat=0&page=1 However, it's nothing that I am not used to. I really wanted to try a new shape and style particularly at this price. The lenses alone on my 1.74 index pair were $600. I understand that Zenni is having shipping problems - to me, the 19 days these took was not outrageous, as my glasses always take extra time due to the rx. I am just so pleased to be able to have another, more stylish pair of glasses as an option. I have always tended to choose conservatively for my frames due to the exorbitant cost. I will most likely order again for myself, and also to get a pair of backup glasses for my 5 year old son who just started wearing them. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://www.glassyeyes.com!
