My prescription is -13 with mild astigmatism, and I've been most
satisfied over the years -- optically, not aesthetically -- with
small, rounded, lower index lenses without anti-reflective coatings or
polished edges. (The small and rounded lens part is critical if you
have a strong prescription and are not ordering high-index lenses.)

I recently purchased two pair of -10.5 reading glasses from Zenni, and
as an experiment ordered two pair of #4508 frames (in different
colors). The lens size on these is 45W X 25H. One pair is the
standard 1.57 index lens, without anti-reflective coating; the other
is the 1.61 index lens with anti-reflective coating. Maybe it's my
imagination, but I think I see better with the 1.57 no coating pair.

Note that all Zenni glasses have polished edges. I'm not sure whether
you can specifiy not polished. I find that when I'm outside in the
sun I seem to get a reflection off the polished edge of a clear lens.
Of course, I should be wearing my sunglasses in the sun, so I've never
tried getting Zenni to not polish the edge.
