Thanks, folks -- I had them checked again at another place, and the machine put me at 66. So that's the answer, I guess. The optician there also told me that my previous pair *had* been made to a 66 PD, which is confusing but whatever.
In any case, I just got my new lenses in with this 66 PD, and it doesn't seem to be causing problems.
