First off, sorry for the double posting regarding how upset I was with
this company.

I was finally able to get in touch with 39$ glasses yesterday, and was
informed that my glasses would ship that same day. Shortly after
talking to them, they called me and left a messages confirming
shipping, and apologizing for the delay. I had paid an extra $11 or so
for overnight shipping, and they refunded me $6 for the inconvenience.
Apparently, my glasses took so long because of my strong prescription.

The glasses arrived today, and I am very happy with them. The
prescription is correct, and except for a very minor nick at the
bottom of the frame, they seem in perfect condition.

Needless to say, patience is not one of my virtues, and waiting for my
glasses showed this very clearly. I still wish this company had
notified me that they would take longer, either when I placed the
order, or whenever they realized that their 2-4 day window would not
be applicable in my case. But all in all, particularly given the money
I’ve saved going through them and not with a brick and mortar
business, I am very satisfied.

As an aside, their 1.58 lenses do seem perfectly adequate for my needs
– I was afraid they’d be too thick. The frames I chose are very small,
so maybe that helped.

Again, despite the delay, I am happy with my purchase and will
probably use this company again.
