Ordered a pair of wire framed single vision glasses with 2 pairs of magnetic clip on sunglasses on 6/19/09. Picked them up today on 7/2/09...though they were likely in maybe a day earlier.
This pair I didn't need to adjust as far as the angle of the lense for clear vision....like I did with the Coastal Contacts. I like the magnetic clip ons...work real well. They are a medium shade of gray-green so that they don't warp colors and are polarized. One set of the clip ons had the right lense not lining up with the lense of the glasses...so I carefully bent the center wire holder some...very delicate work...OK now. For some reason the Zenni glasses lenses are thicker though. The single visions from CoastalContact with the same lense width and same prescription measure 3.9 mm at the outside edge....while the Zenni lenses measure 5.33 mm. The center of the lense is also thicker as you would expect. Both pairs were ordered in the least expensive plastic offered. Not sure why this is. I'm not that vain about lense thickness, but it bothers me when a lense is thicker than needed. Could be I lucked out and got higher index lenses from CC? I do like the nose pads on the Zenni glasses better...more rounded. Well....hopefully I'm done ordering glasses for a while.
