I had to look this up. There was a lot of marketing hype, but it looks
like there's something really there, too. Here's one discussion, a

Abbe values (higher is better):
CR39 - 58
Trivex - 45
SR91 - 40
Polycarbonate - 30

Index of refraction (higher means thinner lenses):
CR39 - 1.49
Trivex - 1.53
SR91 - 1.56
Polycarbonate - 1.59


More research would be needed to determine the advantages of SR91 over
Trivex. If it's not available in clear lenses, though, the point may
be moot.
