The term sounds like marketing speak.

All lenses are inherently "analog" in nature.  No manufacturer would
undertake manufacturing of something as complex and precise as a
progressive prescription lens without computer-aided design and
manufacturing (CAD/CAM).  Between these two things, it's unlikely that
a term like "digital progressive lenses" indicates anything but a
surplus of hot gas.
