I just want to share my FIRST TIME experience buying glasses online and working with Coastal Contacts.
I chose Kam Dhillon 3014 frames with an upgrade to 1.59 poly lenses for light weight. As a Web Designer, my new glasses were very important to me since I would be wearing them 10-12 hours a day working at the computer. Though my glasses size is somewhat difficult to find, my purchase was complicated even more when my first optometrist provided an incorrect prescription. When my first glasses order arrived from Coastal Contacts, the vision in my left eye was poorer than the vision in my right eye. I went to two other optometrists and confirmed my new glasses were made to my requested prescription. I then had my vision checked again by another optometrist and found the left eye prescription had been incorrect. Despite these difficulties, JackyM and EVERYONE at Coastal Contacts was incredibly supportive and worked with me to get the prescription correct. When I contacted Coastal Contacts Customer Service, they agreed to correct the prescription, provided a prepaid return authorization and replace the incorrect lens, all at no cost to me. And, it wasn't even their problem! I am so happy now that I can see CLEARLY. I'm using my new glasses as I write this and will remember my experience with Coastal Contacts every time I sit down at the computer and put on my new glasses. J.E.
