Correct temple length is a function of three factors:

1) The distance from the bridge of your nose rearwards to the tops of
your ears,

2) The amount of setback between the corner of the frame and the
hinge, and

3) The amount of "wrap", or curvature in the front surface of the
frame.

A frame with a lot of wrap and rearset hinges could easily give the
same fit as a flat-fronted frame with hinges at the corners, even if
the temples are 20mm shorter.

None of us can say whether your preferred frames would or wouldn't
fit-- but you can get a better idea of whether you're in the right
ballpark by examining them for the mitigating details I described.
