It's frustrating that they didn't come out and finish their sentence.
"The correction for the boy's glasses is absolutely perfect...however,
the all important PD measurement, which the mother measured herself,
is wrong."

They should have finished it up by saying "The reason this pair of
glasses failed inspection, can be directly attributed to the doctor's
unwillingness to take and release the measurement.  By requiring that
the (unskilled) mother do it all herself, the doctor allowed error to
be introduced."

HYPOCRITES!  They're just hypocrites.  If they actually cared about
eye health, they'd release the numbers we REQUIRE to get eyeglasses,
anywhere we want.
