I had a good experience with Firmoo, (see http://groups.google.com/group/glassyeyes/browse_thread/thread/26fffa9c8e42bc92?hl=en#) so I decided to purchase another pair from them. I went with http://www.firmoo.com/eyeglasses-p-1011.html in solid black. They were $15 at the time but are now $10. Total price was $21.40 with shipping and AR coating. I placed my order on Sunday, 10/11. Unlike my first order, I did not get a delivery confirmation but they were waiting for me Saturday afternoon on 10/17.
So shipped from China in 6 days. I already knew that they measure the frame height rather than the lens height and they have fixed the hinge description on the website so I knew what I was getting. I wanted the thinner plastic and while they look great, they feel a little flimsy. Unlike my first pair, they did not fit perfectly out of the box. (They did fit pretty good though). I brought them in to my Optometrist's optician to have them fit and to check the prescription. She said the optics are good and had them fitting fine within a couple of minutes. I would definately recommend Firmoo. I have now placed two orders from them. Service was fast and most importantly, my lenses were accurate. I still believe that everyone should get their lenses checked for accuracy with any online merchant. I have not had a customer service problem, what I've read from those who did is that they not only worked to correct that problem with the individual, they have made strides to prevent future reccurance of the same problem for new customers.
