I too was confused by their so-called "2-4-1" deal. With two pair in
the cart totalling nearly $200, the only discount showing was about
$25. That, combined with their cart's annoying quirks (e.g. you can't
edit the options on an item in the cart), drove me give up in
frustration. I won't be buying from EBD until they get their act
together.

Unfortunately, I went over to Zenni and found their cart is even
worse: it wouldn't accept my payment info. It just looped back and
forth from the cart to the payment. I even tried a different browser
but got the same result. Unbelievably incompetent.
