A second opinion about my lenses from SaveMoneyOnGlasses.com I have additional information and a correction. It's taking a while to get used to the progressive lenses and I wanted to confirm the prescription of my new lenses was correct and generally that they'd been made properly. Everyone warned me it would take a week to a month to get used to progressives but I felt I had to be certain my problems didn't arise from improper workmanship. I took my new glasses to Dr. Sarah Scribner in Boulder, Colorado for a second opinion.. She told me the prescription was right on and the lenses were excellent. What had looked like tiny crop circles to me were laser etchings describing the exact lens materials. She said the lenses were made with some newer technique that gave me less distortion. I regret I didn't have time to learn more about that. She drew little dots on the lenses and made measurements. Clearly, I don't remember all the details but she was very pleased and assured me the lenses were not my problem and that I was having a normal time getting used to the lenses. Her optician did adjust the frames to move them significantly closer to my face. My correction is that I quoted the price wrong. I paid $294.95 for lenses. I'm still pleased and I'll have one more long missive to write before I'm done. Vinc
