I am curious about this as well. I was quite happy with my one order from Zenni initially. I still feel the frames and lenses are great quality. But I find the glasses almost unusable at night because of the same issue you mention with the AR coating. Lights coming from behind reflect off the inside of the lense, which is not AR coated. Only the front is. Every set of glasses I have ordered from other companies with an AR coating option has had both sides of the lenses done.
The only input I can give you is that my Zenni order was in November I believe, and the coating is only on one side of the lense. I ordered their standard lenses.
