As another person with ears of slightly different heights (really it's
quite endearing) this has been of little consequence for me when
ordering online. A simple, gentle twist of the frame at the hinge is
usually enough to "fix" the issue.

Titanium frames make this more difficult, but there is usually some
point on the frame that has just enough "give".

Try an inexpensive pair or two (maybe one plastic and one metal) and
see what I mean.
