I was just thinking about the average eye exam visit.
The following is assuming you purchase glasses at a retailer:
If the doctor does not put down the PD, how does the guy out front
selling the glasses know what PD to use? My last exam/purchase (Prior
to this) from a retailer was over 3 years ago. But I don't recall the
person out front taking a PD measurement...
What I am getting at is: Does anyone know if they just use a standard
PD? If so, is it all that important?
They never use a standard PD measurement.
When I asked my eye doctor to put down the PD, she told
me to go outside and have it measured in the shop, since
she did not do that herself.
