Ordered from zenni. Happy all round with quality (and the shipping to toronto, ontario was QUICK - ordered april 28th, arrived may10th).
BUT. i ordered two pairs: first half rim: lens size about 28x50mm, edge thickness of about 4mm second rimless: lens size about 55x31mm, edge thickness of 6mm!! both materials were 1.56 index, but the thicker one is photochromatic. the lenses are thicker all the way to the middle (i.e. the middle of the lens for both pairs is not equal). Is this normal? I would expect the edge thickness of the larger lenses to be a little larger - but not 1/3 thicker. of course i don't know much about these things. just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this. my rx on the compared lenses is: sph: -4.25, cyl -100 axis 005 Cheers, Silenthunder p.s. sorry if i posted this more than once; coudln't remember if i did this last night -- Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
