I use a separate email addresses for each merchant I use, so it is easy to track who sells my info to unscrupulous third parties (or who gets hacked). Recently I got the following virus-laden e-mail sent to an e-mail address I used only with EyeBuyDirect:
----- Please open the attached document. It was scanned and sent to you using a Xerox WorkCentre Pro. Sent by: Guest Number of Images: 1 Attachment File Type: ZIP [DOC] WorkCentre Pro Location: machine location not set Device Name: XRX8872AA7ACDB47050410 For more information on Xerox products and solutions, please visit http://www.xerox.com ---- I would think twice about dealing with a company tha sells your info to scammers or has lax enough security that your e-mail address is accessible to scammers.
