You mean you've ordered the 1.50 index lenses? Or the 1.57 index
polycarbonate lenses (which cost the same). I've gotten several pairs
with 1.57 index lenses, but out of curiosity, I recently tried the
1.50 index
lenses. (I recall someone, maybe you, saying the 1.50 lenses were of
CR39 material.) I think I like the 1.50 lenses better, because,
though
they are a little thicker for my fairly mild prescription, they seem
to have
better contrast. What I mean by that is that the 1.57 (and 1.59)
polycarbonate lenses produce a whiteish haze over everything, which
I'd guess is due to reflections off the internal surfaces of the
lenses, and
this haze is much less prominent with the 1.50 lens material.
