I've been doing some research on progressive and bifocal lenses, since
I now have a +1.00 ADD on my prescription. Some of what I've seen on
progressives says not to switch between single vision and progressive
lenses because that will make learning to use them more difficult. I
wear single vision contact lenses most of the time, but there are
times when I want to wear glasses.

I was wondering if anyone had trouble switching between progressives
or bifocals and contact lenses. I've ordered a single vision pair of
glasses from EyeBuyDirect, and am going to order another pair of
glasses so I can have one pair and a backup, and am trying to decide
if I want to get just another single vision pair or try to get
bifocals or progressives.

I can still read with single vision, but sometimes it's a struggle
with small print. My optometrist says I can use those +1 readers if I
feel I need them.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
