My VDSL modem provides wifi, three LAN ethernets, and one ethernet to be used as either LAN or WAN. By default, all LAN and wifi addresses are in the same IPv4 subnet. One of the ethernet outputs is connected straight to the N300A- IP, but I have not yet attempted to filter the SIP connection.
