I agree to most of your points, but I'm with Gabriel on the forum idea -
even if talk pages are technically just as functional, I think players
would rather have a forum.
As for whether we want a gaming community: I would say that you can't
have a developer community without a gamer community as well. We should
be honest about the fact that Glob2 is going through a rough spot in its
development right now (need to do lots of groundwork before we can start
improving the game in ways that people will notice), but the game is
perfectly playable as it is.
