I agree with your suggestions, I hope Nuage will have some time to talk
with you about that. Slann was quite angry yesterday evening because of
the lack of priorities in building construction.
Nevertheless, hopefully without sounding too cynical, I would like to
add that I often suggest precise areas that need work, and very few
people volunteer to help on them, even if this is not about code. For
instance, recently, I suggested we add some widgets highlighting in SGSL
or explained my plans for the map edit GUI rewrite.
All this said, I definitively agree that we should have both a high
level roadmap (the roadmap page) that lists global goals and more
detailed descriptions of subgoals. The later could be implemented by the
bug track at savannah using wishes bugs or through a page in the Wiki.
What do you prefer? I would also like to tags some work as "junior job",
not only in the code, but in all areas, so that new contributor can
easily get involved. For that reason, perhaps the Wiki is better.
