As you mention the cloud animation - I use glob2 with low graphics,
because of them.  They are much too fast and monotonous in animation.
It looks as if in glob2 it is always stormy.  Compare to real world
cloud movement.  It takes a real long time till a cloud passes your
entire sight.  After just a few minutes using high details, I feel
relieved when I am switching back to low graphics.  This is a shame,
since the clouds could improve graphics alot.  
Especially in the map editor, where they are the only moving objects.
(They also belong to the editor, because it gives a better impression
how the map will look like in the game. Of course there could be a
toggle for cloud movement).

I would like the clouds slower.
If doable I would like SMALL random changes in speed and direction
every few seconds.
