i guess this is due to a view point mevement that ist integer rather than rational. i'd prefere to have rational scrolling to get smoother movement. but implementing that failed when i saw how many cases of a<<2, b>>3, ... would have had to be replaced by some real equivalent. (wantedViewport=(x,y) ontimer(){visualViewport=0.95*visualViewport+.5*wantedViewport;})
