Recent scientific studies have evaluated the relative readability of white on black vs. black on white text and found serious problems with white on black.
I suspect that it makes a difference, whether you look at paper or a screen. White background on screen should make you feel dizzy a lot sooner than dark background.
I suspect white on colored is even worse.
White on colored often is hard to read. So is black on colored. But on the other hand: textured background is more relaxing in the long run, and more appealing on first sight. Personally, I use colored text on textured background for all my onscreen work. -- Kai Antweiler _______________________________________________ glob2-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/glob2-devel
