I'll give it a shot. We can't do this everytime though, cause if it takes ~5
mins to compile, then the wiki and such will go down.

services running?

I didn't write the scripts, but from what I can tell, it works when the
server loses its bindings to the ports needed. So if the server crashes,
provided its not in gdb, then it should be restarted within 5 seconds. If it
gets stuck in a loop, or usernames/hosters get stuck because of unknown
desyncs, a quick server_restart when no one is on, fixes this.

Otherwise, you can also log into the server, run   kill all glob2   (or
whatever command), and all servers die, then  come back online within
seconds.


i forgot to ask: is beta2 served via beta3? most people interested in glob2
> should be running beta2 clients.


There is a beta2 sh script there. I'm not sure why it didn't show up for
you.

Beta1-3 all use their own servers.
