my toggle fullscreen patch works fine with SDL
but with OpenGL, it freezes glob2, even with software renderer. Anyway, I 
guess there is a good reason why you require game restart if I change 
Settings->Display->Fullscreen with OpenGL. And I used the same code in my 
patch.
